Government colleges to operate in shifts

Minister for Higher Education K Ponmudi told that Starting this year, government colleges in the State will follow a shift system to meet the increasing demand for quality higher education. It will be introduced in ten colleges this year. (In villupuram Aringnar Anna arts and science College, Villupuram)

While the morning shift would be from 7.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m, the evening shift would be from 1.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. "Even private colleges can apply for permission to introduce the shift system. More teachers will be appointed for the purpose,'' Mr. Ponmudi said.

State Highways status for district roads

In a major infrastructure upgradation move, the State Government has decided to convert 99 major district roads totalling 1902.406 km to State Highways.
Another 65 district roads (totalling 761.83 km) will also be upgraded as highways, while 273 district roads (totalling 3811.954 km) will be made into major district roads. in the order villupuram district roads that are set to become State highways ,where the highways are: Tindivanam-Marakkanam Road and Villupuram-Tiruvannamali Road (Villupuram district),

Karunanidhi seeks early completion of rail projects

Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has evinced keen interest in the progress of ongoing railway projects in the State and want these completed within a time frame, Southern Railway General Manager Thomas Varghese said here that ...........................Mr. Karunanidhi also wanted the zone to give priority to projects such as the villupuram-mayavaram electric gauge conversion and the MRTS for which the State Government was sharing the cost. He also urged the zone to provide more passenger amenities and complete the construction of ongoing railway over/under bridges in the State .

untill now villupuram is undeveloped district

Comparing to other district villupuram is till undeveloped district .and also not favour in any majour resource .peoples are going for there job in other districts and other states, so [ govt or private] new plans ,which based upon electrical and electronics project and industries want to be reopened in villupuram. other than in villupuram the main source is transport facility where villupuram has highways and railway junctions for goods carrying so our blog request industlist person and govt to turn over there vision to villupuram .and this is people wish also .

Villupuram highways want to be extend

villupuram highway becoming village road .villupuram highway NH45 is one of the long highway in tamilnadu .but now condition is changed totaly inverse ,villupuram to salem and thiruchi highway becoming total damage and highway dept also not taking proper action on it.only passengers is affected in this issue and only increasing of accidents in the roadways .so govt want to take againt of this problem.

MEDICAL COLLEGE IN VILLUPURAM

Villupuram shortly becoming a education district ,over all above more than 70 corer rupees were estimated in budget for reopening medical college in villupuram , CM announced that within 4 years medical college will be reopened in villupuram district.other than this district people where also welcomed the plan on medical college .this is one of milestone for villupuram history.
