PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam on Tuesday released GETIT BizList, a commercial telephone directory for Puducherry.
The directory contains information on emergency services, civic amenities, essential services, public utility services and places of worship. Business listings from all service providers such as BSNL, Aircel, Airtel, Tata Indicom, Vodafone and Reliance were available in GETIT BizList.
It has both landline and mobile numbers, said a press release.
Apart from other features, the directory has an information section based on travel and tourism relating to Puducherry, Karaikal, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Neyveli, and Villupuram and nearby towns, the release added.
GETIT BizList directories would be distributed free of cost to all business houses, offices, showrooms, shops, prime residential areas in Puducherry city, nearby towns and suburbs, said the release.
