TIRUCHI: The Southern Railway will operate special trains from Tiruchi to Chennai Egmore to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Train No. 0656 Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore special will leave Tiruchi at 8. 15 p.m. on March 22 and 29 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 3.30 a.m., the next day. The train will stop at Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Tindivanam, Melmaruvathur, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam. It will have one AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, eight sleeper class, four general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Advance reservation for these trains will commence from March 12.
